Where is the Brave Love Women Global Conference being held?
Our Brave Love Women Global Conference is being held at Angelus Temple, the historic church founded by Aimee Semple McPherson. The address is 1100 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026.
In 1918, evangelist and social advocate Aimee Semple McPherson felt called by God to travel West and lead a church in the heart of booming Los Angeles. Just five years later, she founded Angelus Temple. Amidst extreme poverty and social upheaval, McPherson passionately preached God’s hope and healing power, leading countless city-wide initiatives to care for the hungry, homeless and broken. Angelus Temple celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2023.
What is the best airport to fly into?
The closest airport to Angelus Temple is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It’s about 45 mins away from our gathering, depending on traffic. Other smaller airports that might service participants flying in are Long Beach Airport (LGB) or Santa Ana Airport (SNA). These are both about an hour away.
Where should I stay?
It all depends on your budget! There are many hotels located around Angeles Temple (most decent ones are 15-30 mins away) with varying prices. You could also look at getting an Airbnb (or hotel) with friends in the Pasadena, Alhambra, Glendale, or Burbank area which are all 30 minutes or less from the venue (depending on traffic).
We have blocks of rooms available for participants at the following 3 hotels:

How should I get around?
If you stay in a hotel or Air Bnb and rent a car, Angelus Temple has a large free parking garage attached to it. You’ll be able to easily park at the venue. However, for those not wanting to drive in L.A. traffic, Ubers are plentiful and can help make things easier for you.

What times are the sessions?
The schedule is the same for both Friday and Saturday:
9:00-12:30pm – Morning Session
12:30-2:30pm – Lunch
2:30-5:00pm – Afternoon Session
5:00-7:00pm – Dinner
7:00-9:30pm – Evening Session
What are the options for meal times?
Meal times are 2 hours long. Sunset Boulevard is close by and has many restaurants and places to eat along it. Some are within walking distance of Angelus Temple, and many more are just a short drive away.
What can I expect during these 2 days?
The Brave Love Women Global Conference is a two-day leadership experience where inspiration meets action! We are designing these two days for women to experience the following:
- Gain God’s vision for your life as a woman made for solution and impact
- Overcome internal and external objections to being a woman who leads
- Access to prayer teams willing to pray with you about God’s original design for you
- Gain a Great Commissional worldview so you can begin to see the real need
- Practical training and activation in freedom areas and in sharing the gospel
- Opportunity for you to respond on how you’d like to take action so we can follow-up with you.
Additionally, Aimee Semple’s original home which is right next to Angelus Temple will be open for free walk-thru’s during the two days. Her parsonage is now an inspiring museum of her revival history. Come and see how one woman can make such a difference!
Will there be childcare? Is Brave Love appropriate for younger girls?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide childcare for this 2 day conference. Nursing moms of newborns / very young infants are welcome and there is a nursing mothers room. However if your baby is now walking or needing room to crawl / sit and play, please make other arrangements for your children so you can fully enjoy the two days and take in all that God wants to impart to you this weekend.

We are calling women of all ages who serve in ministry in any capacity to join us for a free luncheon at the Garden Church in Huntington Beach. We want to honor women who are pouring out their lives for God’s Kingdom, and offer encouragement and refreshment to every woman who comes. GenZ women are carrying a unique assignment from heaven to reach their generation with the gospel like never before! Passionate, justice-driven, seeing the love deficits, hungry for truth and understanding the power of social media, this generation holds a real potential to impact society like never before. We are holding a Brave Love Gen Z rally in L.A. to talk about what God is saying to women of this generation and how we can unite and activate together to do what’s never been done.
